Document Description
This CalVTP project is proposed to improve overall forest health and provide watershed benefits. Project goals include reducing fuel loading, re-introducing fire to the landscape to promote late seral forest stand characteristics, and to create a heterogeneous forest structure resilient to future natural disturbances and climate scenarios. Treatments will include prescribed broadcast burning, manual and mechanical treatments and herbicide application.
