The project encompasses 6,446 acres within the BEU CAL FIRE Unit. Treatment activities include manual, mechanical, and prescribed fire (broadcast and pile burning). A Project Specific Analysis was prepared for the project as an activity covered by the CALVTP Program EIR. All actions are consistent with the Program EIR analysis in accomplishing the project objectives of Wildland-Urban Interface Fuel Reduction and Ecological Restoration treatment types.
