Document Description
The Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) would be providing funding to help implement vegetation treatments for approximately 1,056 acres of State Responsibility Area (SRA) Lands within the Mattole River watershed in Humboldt County. Treatment activities include mechanical and manual treatments, and prescribed burning (broadcast and pile burning). The purpose of these treatments is to increase forest health and wildfire resiliency within the Mattole River watershed.
