Document Description
This project will implement vegetation treatments on up to 12,966 acres of land in the Upper Sacramento Watershed west of the city of Mount Shasta from I-5 to the Shasta-Trinity National Forest boundary. The proposed treatment types (i.e., ecological restoration, wildland-urban interface [WUI] fuel reduction, fuel breaks) and the treatment activities (i.e., prescribed burning, mechanical treatments, manual treatments, herbicide application) are consistent with those evaluated in the CalVTP PEIR.
