This project will implement Wildland-Urban Interface and Fuel Break treatments on up to 142 acres in Humboldt county. The project objectives are to reduce hazardous fire fuels, decrease potential wildfire intensity, and help restore and perpetuate the natural ecological processes desired by the landowner through periodic application of prescribed burns. A Project Specific Analysis was prepared for the project as an activity covered by the CALVTP Program EIR.
