Document Description
Note: Per Lead Agency, project title changed to match City's loan application - previous title: Hangtown Creek Water Reclamation Facility Clean Water State Revolving Loan Photovoltaic Facility
The project consists of clearing an approx. 2.88 acre site of existing vegetation for installation of a solar pv system to provide electricity for the operation of the existing municipal waste water treatment plant. The PV system would be installed on a ground-mounted racking system on approx. 300 piers that would be driven a max of 8 ft below ground. The system would be connected to the site's 2000-amp electrical switchgear system. The PV system is estimated to achieve a 60% reduction in energy use at the plant.
