The site is the location of a former Manufactured Gas Plant. A Remedial Action Plan has been prepared for the site. The selected remedy consists of: 1) targeted treatment of deep impacted soils using in-situ stabilization (ISS); 2) capping of the site; 3) confirmation soil and soil gas sampling; 4) institutional controls in the form of a land use covenant; and 5) groundwater monitoring.
