Document Description
Replace the functionally obsolete Travers Creek Bridge on Parlier Ave with a new structure that meets current standards. The existing two-lane concrete slab bridge is 28 ft in length with an approx 21 ft curb to curb width and carriers two 9 ft wide travel lanes and 2 ft wide shoulders. The proposed box culvert is 52 ft in length with an approx 49 ft curb to curb width that would carry two 12 ft wide travel lanes and 5-ft wide shoulders. The existing bridge is functionally obsolete and should be replaced due to its age and hydraulic insufficiencies.
