Document Description
The project consists of the development or expansion of three basin sites within the Lower Kaweah River system area where the City of Visalia is located. The primary goals of the project are reducing flood risk for the City of Visalia through increased transitory flood storage capacity and incorporating wildlife habitat enhancement at the basin sites. The project has a secondary goal of increased groundwater recharge at the three basin sites.
