Document Description
A Caltrans highway encroachment permit will be issued for traffic control, utility relocations and extensions. This permit only applies to work within Caltrans right-of-way. The City of Bishop prepared an Initial Study/ Negative Declaration in 2019, for the West Jay Street Extension project. The City also filed an NOD for this project in April of 2019. Caltrans concurs with the CEQA measures and findings, in the above documents, for the State highway right-of- way.
