Document Description
CDFW is intending to execute a Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code (#1600-2019-0225-RS) to the project applicant, San Diego State University/California State University. The overall project consists of the development of facilities to accommodate a new 35,000-capacity multipurpose stadium; 1.6 million square feet for office, research and development, and academic uses in approximately 16 buildings; up to 4,600 new residential homes in 15 buildings; approximately 400 hotel rooms; commercial and retail space; and parks and open space. Project components subject to this Agreement are limited to the following drainage improvements associated with Phase 1 construction: (1) the proposed installation of a sewer connection along the northern bank of the San Diego River and (2) the construction of an east-west trending drainage swale along the southern project boundary to direct site runoff to an unnamed tributary to the San Diego River.
