Document Description
The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) analyzed Carson 175, LLC’s Removal Action Workplan that describes installation of a vapor intrusion mitigation system (VIMS) to prevent vapor intrusion of petroleum hydrocarbons and volatile organic compounds into the future homes planned at the Northeast Corner of South Central Avenue and Victoria Street, Carson (Site).
Activities to be conducted pursuant to the approved Removal Action Workplan include:
• Installation of a vapor intrusion mitigation system (VIMS) which would include a long-term operation, maintenance, and monitoring plan, and recording a land use covenant as an institutional control measure.
As Responsible Agency under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), DTSC approved the above-described project on December 8, 2023
