Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board is funding the Project referred to internally as Carpinteria Advanced Purification Project (CAPP). The Project includes the construction of an Advanced Water Purification Facility and Purified Water Pump Station to be located on the existing wastewater treatment plant site; 6,100 linear feet (LF) of 12-inch conveyance pipeline; 2,000 LF of eight-inch conveyance pipeline from the well lateral split point to individual injection wells; up to two 14-inch diameter injection wells with backwash pumps and one 42,000-gallon tank; 1,400 LF of 12-inch well backwash discharge piping to existing sanitary sewers or storm drains; and up to four monitoring wells.
