The California Departmen of Fish and Wildlife is issuing a permit (2081(a) 18-016-RP) to the City of Santa Cruz Department of Parks and Recreation pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 2081(a) for a project to analyze soil samples from Arana Gulch to provide information on the soil nutrients present in habitats where the state endangered Santa Cruz tarplant (Holocarpha macradenia) is growing and is not growing to provide information on wherther soil nutrients, or lack thereof, affect Santa Cruz tarplant seed germination and /or plant growth.
