The Upper Ridge Way area is an island within the NID service boundary. Annexation of the 11 parcels will enable these developed properties to access NID's raw water supplies in order to enable and or facilitate agricultural operations. Upon completion of annexation they will be eligible to receive water from the NID. Annexation will not require any infrastructure upgrades by NID as the irrigation canal is located within a close proximity to the interested parcels. If an annexed parcel requests water service, a meter box would be installed at the closest location to the applicant, and the applicant would then be responsible for the installation of a private service lateral to their property.
Annexation of 11 parcels comprising 235.85 acres including two parcels on the south end of Quail Ridge Way and nine parcels on Upper Ridge Way. All 11 parcels are on lands planned and zone for 20 acres. Each parcel conforms to the existing density and min lot size. Each parcel is developed with a single-family dwelling. Domestic water to the 11 parcels is provided by individual wells. The purpose of the annexation is to enable access to NID's raw water facilities in the area. No additional NID infrastructure will be necessary to provide services to the parcels other than the installation of a meter outlet.
