CDFW is issuing a permit (No. 2081(A)-18-013-RP) to The Chapparral Lands Conservancy pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 2081(a) for a project to conduct Orcutt's spineflower surveys, plant seed of Orcutt's spineflower (Chorizanthe orcuttiana) at new locations, seed and/or plant corms of short-leaved dudleya (Dudleya brevifolia) at new locations, weed and maintain existing natural and introduced Orcutt's spineflower populations, and install fencing and signage to protect populations of both species.

The permit issued by the CDFW for the project includes measures to ensure that existing populations of Orcutt's spineflower and short-leaved dudleya are not impacted.
