Document Description
Caltrans proposes to replace a deteriorating section of bridge deck just south of the hinge and joint seal. Caltrans will also install a new soffit access opening between the existing two openings and replace two signs to show lower clearance. The purpose is to extend the service life of the existing bridge structure. Beneficiaries include commuters, visitors, and truckers.

Any previously unidentified cultural materials found during construction will be assessed by an archaeologist.
