Document Description
The Division of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources issued a permit to deepen an oil and gas well (API 0405921733, Well #732). The well is located the Huntington Beach oil field in Orange County.
The permit is for deepening and completing an already existing well which currently consists of a 20" conductor cemented in place down to 80'. The permitted work will deepen and complete the well to 6,152'. The surface wellhead is located in an area already zoned for oil well operations by the City of Huntington Beach. This area contains approx 400 already existing abandoned and active oil wells and the associated surface equipment to operate the active wells.
