- Document Description
- The Division of Safety of Dams (DSOD) requires that valves associated with low-level outlet works be exercized on an annual basis to verify the ability to dewater the reservoir. The Patterson Dam downstream 12-inch butterfly valve shall be exercised by fully opening and closing. The total volume of water between the U/S and D/S valves is estimated at 880 gallons. The cyclin of both valves and dewatering shall be done in a controlled manner to avoid a sudden release of water into the drainage ditch. The entire project iw within DFD right of way.
