Document Description
A Right of Entry permit will be processed to allow the sand haul route through the South Ponto State Beach parking lot. This will allow for the Leucadia/Batiquitos Beaches Sand Replenishment project (SCH# 2003111025). Easements will be prepared for items to be built on park property as required by special conditions of Coastal Development Permit #6-92-203 and amendments. Features to be built are a pedestrian access pathway from Highway 101 to the State Beach parking lot, retaining walls in support of the pathway, storm drains, landscaping, irrigation and signage, to improve visitor services. Measures to be implemented to avoid impact may be obtained by submitting a request to the project Environmental Coordinator listed below.

The action falls under the Department List of Exempt activities according to CEQA Section 15300.4 as: - "construction of park facilities" (class 3, section 15303); - "trail construction" (classs 4, section 15304); and - "issuance of easements and permits" (class 5, section 15305).
