The Coastal Conservancy will provide grants to aid the recovery of the southern sea otter, including: 1) public education/monitoring to reduce disturbance of otters within their range (San Mateo to Santa Barbara County), 2) conduct a study to develop a sea otter population growth and food web model at Point Reyes National Season.

Sonoma State University is exempt under sec. 15305 (info collection) b/c it will use common and standardized techniques not resulting in serious or major disturbance to resources to study sea otter population growth and food webs.
