Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC) propose to improve operations for vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians where Interstate 80 (1-80) and Gilman Street intersect. The purpose of the project is to simplify and improve navigation, mobility and traffic operations, reduce congestion, vehicle queues and traffic, bicycle, and pedestrian conflicts, improve local and regional bicycle connections and pedestrian facilities, and improve safety at the I-80/Gilman Street interchange.
