Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (SF) of outdoor mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN): 015-220-025. The applicant is seeking a Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-546) and currently holds an Adult-Use Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL19-0005341, Expires on 2024-12-03). Cultivation activities include approx. 8,560 sqft of mature canopy in one (1) 16’x100’ hoop house, three (3) 20’x100’ greenhouses, one (1) 6’x100’ temporary hoop house and two (2) 6’x30’ temporary hoop houses. Existing support infrastructure includes a 6’x30’ outdoor area for immature canopy, a 10’x12’ storage shed, a permitted groundwater well, a 550-gallon mixing tank, two (2) 2,500-gallon, two (2) 3,000-gallon and a 5,000-gallon water storage tank totaling 16,000-gallons, a multi-use two-story 30’x40’ structure and a 10’x10’ compost. Power is provided by generators with carbon offsets credits proposed for purchase. A permitted septic system is used on-site. A more detailed project description can be found in the Appendix C Checklist. SPECIAL NOTES: 1. The project is no longer proposing the 1,440 sqft grading expansion as described in the Site Map and Environmental Checklist. 2. The project initially received a CEQA Notice of Determination on 10/18/2023 for a small mixed-light license. However, the project changed the license type from small-mixed light to small outdoor with the DCC before County CCL issuance. Updates were made to the Appendix C to reflect the change in license type to small outdoor. The proposed project will cultivate outdoor mature canopy only. No supplemental lights will be used during flowing and proposed canopy area will remain in existing infrastructure.
