Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (SF) of mixed-light located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN): 025-120-010-000. The applicant is seeking a Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-448) and currently holds an Adult-Use Specialty Cottage Indoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL18-0001394, Expires on 2025-02-21). Cultivation activities include a 25’x20’ area inside a 25’x30’ building for approx. 500sqft mature indoor canopy; an 11’x13’ building for immature canopy area (12.5’x10’ canopy). Existing support infrastructure includes a 12’x13.5’ building for processing/packaging (9’x12’) and harvest storage (4.5’x12’); a 10’x15’ cannabis waste composting area; a permitted groundwater well for both agricultural and domestic purposes; one (1) 2,500-gallon water storage tank; and a 10’x12’ shed used for drying (to be removed from use after license type change from Specialty Cottage indoor to Small Outdoor). The proposed activities include: construction of a 20’x50’ metal building for processing which will be repurposed as harvest storage. Sufficient fill material will be placed in the existing area to accommodate the 1,000 ft2 building; construction of twelve (12) 6’x100’ for total of approx. 9,792sqft mature canopy which will require minor grading; installation of two 1,600-gallon water storage tanks; and removal of the 10’x12’ shed, 11’x13’, and 12’x13.5’ buildings. The existing 25’x30’ building will be used for Ag chemical storage (5’x5’) and 725sqft of immature canopy after transition from indoor to outdoor license type is completed.
