Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) is a new license for existing cultivation on Trinity County Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN): 024-650-026-000 located at 70 Lorenz Rest Road in eastern Trinity County. No significant changes to the cultivation site or associated activities are proposed. The applicant is proposing to replace existing hoop houses with greenhouses using the same footprint creating zero square feet (SF) of new ground disturbance. The project does not have an active cultivation license from the California Department of Cannabis Control. The project site is currently licensed for up to 10,000 SF of mature cultivation under Trinity County CCL-641 as “Adult-Use Small Mixed Light”. The project is applying for the same license type from the Trinity County Planning Department (CCL-641) to cultivate up to 10,000 SF of cannabis mature canopy. The proposed project water source is a groundwater well. The applicant will utilize water as efficiently and conservatively as possible, and report water usage annually to the State Water Resources Control Board as directed in the Cannabis General Order. The direct footprint of the cultivation and associated infrastructure results in approximately 14,384 SF of total operational area, consisting of the following: 9,900 SF mature canopy, 3,000 SF immature canopy, and 1,484 SF respectively.
