Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of 10,000 square feet (SF) of mature outdoor and mixed-light cannabis located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN) 024-680-23-00. The applicant is seeking a Small Mixed-Light Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-544) and currently holds a Small Adult-Use Mixed-Light Tier 1 Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL19-0005201). See below for additional project information. The project parcel is located at 241 Jennings road in Weaverville, California. The proposed project is located approximately 2.23 air miles west of the community of Weaverville at the base of a ridge with a northwestern aspect within the West Weaver Creek watershed (HUC 10 1801021107). Access to the project site is via a graded earth driveway that extends off the south side of Jennings Road, which can be accessed through State Highway 299. Cultivation activities include 10,000 SF of mature outdoor and mixed-light canopy grown in existing hoop houses. Existing Support facilities include approximately 2,500 square feet (SF) of processing area, secured storage area, and pesticide and waste storage areas. The proposed project includes use of an existing permitted groundwater well with irrigation distribution lines leading to a drip irrigation system for agricultural use. Wastewater generated by the project would be through an existing permitted onsite septic system. Power to the site is provided through an existing connection with the Trinity Public Utility District Grid. There is an existing 1,400-SF residence on the project site that is not proposed as part of cultivation activities or support structures.
