Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of 10,000 square feet (sf) of mature mixed-light cannabis and approximately 3,440 sf of support area located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN) 019-100-30-000. The applicant is seeking a Small Mixed-Light Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-477) and a Small Mixed-Light Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL19-0001890). The project parcel is located at 1060 13 Dips Road in Peanut, California. The existing project is located approximately one mile southwest of the community of Peanut in Trinity County, California. Access to the parcel is via State Route 36 by way of Forest Route 30N19 and 13 Dips Road, and access to the project site is provided via an existing unpaved driveway off 13 Dips Road. Existing activities include the cultivation of up to 10,000 sf of mature mixed-light cannabis canopy in five (5) greenhouses and eleven (11) PVC hoop houses. One 2,880-sf greenhouse would eventually be constructed to replace the eleven (11) existing hoop houses and would be located within the existing cultivation footprint, resulting in a total mature mixed light canopy of 9,240 sf. Existing cannabis support infrastructure includes two (2) shipping containers to be used for processing and storage, a metal building to be used for trimming/processing and immature plant storage, two existing permitted wells, and an existing onsite pond located in the southwestern portion of the project site. Existing cannabis cultivation support infrastructure also includes seven (7) existing water tanks as well as a septic system. Power is supplied to the project via an existing connection with Trinity Public Utilities District, and a backup diesel generator would be installed for emergency purposes.
