Document Description
: The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) is a new license for existing cultivation on Trinity County Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN): 015-420-31-00 located off of N. Meadow Lane in central Trinity County. No significant changes to the cultivation site or associated activities are proposed. The project proposes zero grading and no new disturbance areas will be created. The project had a cultivation permit from Trinity County: License number 363; extended through September 7, 2021, by the Urgency Ordinance (No.1355) with harvesting to be completed by October 31, 2021 (TAA vs Trinity County). The project had an active cultivation permit from the California Department of Cannabis Control (DCC, formerly, ‘CalCannabis’): Adult Use-Small (10,000 sq.ft.) Mixed Light Tier 1 License, number CCL21-0001944; expiration 6/19/2023. Cultivation activities include 9,600 square feet (SF) of permitted cannabis cultivation canopy (total greenhouse area is 11,520 SF), propagation of seed stock and drying of harvested cannabis plants. There is no trimming or packaging onsite. Processing and packaging occur offsite. Associated cannabis support buildings and infrastructure include: one (1) 20’x40’ (800 SF) building that consists of 3’x5’ (15 SF) used for pesticide and chemical storage area, 3’x5’ (15 SF) used Administration Hold area, and a 570 SF area used for harvest storage; one (1) 15’x15’ (225 SF) used for cannabis waste (compost) area; one (1) permitted groundwater well, five (5) 2,500-gallon water storage tanks (totaling 12,500 gallons), and three (3) 5,000-gallon water tanks (totaling 15,000 gallons); and two (2) 25’x96 (4,800 SF) immature canopy area. The direct footprint of the cultivation and infrastructure results in approximately 17,345 SF.
