Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) is the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (sf) of Small Outdoor cannabis. No significant changes to the cultivation site or associated activities are proposed. The project proposes zero grading and no new disturbance areas will be created. The project does not propose to expand the designated area. Disturbed area currently amounts to 0.5 acres. There are currently 201 (4’x4’) cultivation boxes (mature canopy calculations account for 1.5’ overhang on each side amounting to 7’x7’ or 49 sf each) and a 14’x27’ building used for immature canopy, processing, and harvest storage. Existing support infrastructure includes: one 20’x20’ cannabis waste area used for composting, three 2500-gallon water storage tanks, one 5,000-gallon water storage tank, three 250-gallon nutrient mixing tanks, and two 1,500-gallon cisterns (used for fire suppression) and one groundwater well for agricultural use and one for domestic use. Proposed project elements include: construction of an additional support structure, a 20’x30’ building for a processing and harvest storage, will be installed in an area that has been previously graded and is already part of the Project area. No vegetation will be removed or otherwise disturbed to complete construction. A more detailed project description can be found in the attached Appendix C.
