Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) is a new license for existing cultivation on Trinity County Assessor’s Parcel Numbers (APNs): 019-420-01-00 & 019-420-02-00 located off of Southridge Road in southern Trinity County. No significant changes to the cultivation site or associated activities are proposed. The project proposes zero grading and no new disturbance areas will be created. Further environmental review pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) will be required for any expansion of the cultivation area. The project had a cultivation permit from Trinity County: License number 202; extended through September 7, 2021, by the Urgency Ordinance (no.1355) with harvesting to be completed by October 31, 2021 (TAA vs Trinity County). The project has an active cultivation permit from the California Department of Cannabis Control (DCC, formerly, ‘CalCannabis’): Adult Use-Small (10,000 sq.ft.) Outdoor License, number CCL18-0003295; expiration 5/1/2023. Cultivation activities include 6,914.5 square feet (SF) of permitted cannabis cultivation (98 - 5’x5’ cultivation boxes, 59 - 6’x6’ cultivation boxes, 21 - 5’ diameter smart pots, 56 - 4’ diameter smart pots, 31 - 3’ diameter smart pots, one 4’x93.5’ bed, one 4’x92.5’ bed, and one 4’x91.5’ bed for mature canopy), propagation of seed stock and drying of harvested cannabis plants. Trimming and packaging occur onsite. Associated cannabis support buildings and infrastructure include: three (3) 10’x12’ sheds used for processing, agricultural chemical and pesticide storage, and administration hold area; one (1) 10’x12’ shed for general storage, eight (8) 10’x12’ sheds for processing; one (1) 10’x10’ (100 SF) used for cannabis waste (compost) area; one (1) 20’x50’ (1,000 SF) used for immature cultivation area; one (1) permitted groundwater well; two (2) 500-gallon water storage tanks; one (1) 1,300-gallon water storage tank; one (1) 2,500-gallon water storage tank; one (1) 3,000-gallon water storage tank. The direct footprint of the cultivation and infrastructure results in approximately 0.23 acres. A more detailed project description can be found in the Appendix C.
