Document Description
The project is limited to the restoration of approximately 145 linear feet of ephemeral stream channel, including the excavation of road materials placed within the stream and the realignment of the channel. A road connecting the residence and a cannabis cultivation site currently exists over the segment of stream channel to be restored. The restored stream will be a minimum of 4-feet wide, with a 5 percent-sloped stream bottom. Shrubs and grass will be removed during the excavation of the channel but will be revegetated according to permanent best management practices. Soil within 50 feet of the restored channel will be stabilized. Straw wattles will be placed strategically along the stream channel to prevent erosion, and straw cover will be placed over exposed soil. No permanent impacts to fish and wildlife resources are expected to result from project activities.
