Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-TRI-56721-R1), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, to the project Applicant, Nancy Schaedler-Moore.
The project consists of a total of four (4) projects, two (2) stream crossing replacements, one (1) stream crossing and road decommissioning, and one (1) area of stream remediation.
1. Stream Crossing 1 is located on the main access road prior to reaching the residence. This stream crossing consists of an existing undersized culvert that is plugged at the inlet. Work will involve the installation of a 36-inch corrugated metal pipe (cmp) with inlet and outlet armoring.
2. Stream Crossing 2 is located on an access road with a gate blocking vehicle access. Work will include decommissioning an existing 12-inch culvert crossing and access road.
3. Stream Crossing 3 is located at the entrance of the property, on the main access road. The crossing consists of an existing undersized 12-inch culvert. Work will involve the installation of a 24-inch cmp with inlet and outlet armoring.
4. Stream Restoration 1 is located above the access road adjacent to the upper cultivation area. This area consists of an ephemeral stream that lacks proper conveyance due to construction of the access road. The engineer will conduct an upstream investigation and detail a plan to reconnect the stream to the adjacent tributary channel.
After work is completed, the site will be stabilized and revegetated.
