Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (SF) of outdoor mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN): 017-350-044-000. The applicant is seeking a Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-578) and is also seeking a Medicinal Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL20-0002106, Expired on 2025-01-06) and a Type 13 Self-Transport, Transport only – Distribution license from the DCC. Cultivation activities are approved to include approx. 5,572sqft mature canopy in (140) 5’x5’ boxes, (2) 6’x6’ boxes and two (2) 10’x100’ uncovered hoop house frames. Existing support infrastructure includes one (1) 1,500-gallon water storage tanks, a permitted onsite groundwater well, temporary 10’x40’ drying area, 5’x5’ compost area and 7’x10’ shed for ag chemical storage. Proposed activities are approved for the installation of a 1,000-gallon and a 2,500-gallon water storage tanks, a 20’x80’ structure to be used for immature canopy and drying, potentially to be replaced by two (2) 8’x40’ containers on previously disturbed area; the existing 10’x40’ drying area will be converted into (4) 10’x10’ drying areas, potentially replaced with four (4) 10’x12’ sheds otherwise a 10’x40’ hoop house or larger 20’x80’ hoop house for immature canopy and drying area; the two (2) 10’x100’ hoop house frames will be replaced by a 30’x96’ greenhouse containing three (3) 7.33’x96’ rows (2,112sqft) for a total of approx. 5,684sqft mature canopy. Power for the project is provided by TPUD and there is a permitted septic system onsite to serve the project’s wastewater needs. A more detailed project description can be found in the Appendix C Checklist. SPECIAL NOTES: 1. The proposed expansion including CalFire less-than 3-acre conversion is not included with approval of this determination at this time; a grading permit and a copy of the conversion application, etc. will need to be submitted and reviewed before the proposed expansion can be approved.
