Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (SF) of outdoor mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN): 018-850-010-000. The applicant is seeking a Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-819) and is also seeking an Adult-Use Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) as well as a Self-Transport Distribution License from the DCC. Cultivation activities will include approx. 10,000sqft mature canopy in pots, boxes and beds of various sizes within an approx. 10,000sqft disturbed footprint. Support infrastructure will include an existing 19’x34’ garage for immature canopy, ag chemical storage, processing, and harvest storage; there is an existing 12’x32’ outbuilding for ag chemical storage, processing and harvest storage, a 10’x10’ cannabis waste composting area, a permitted onsite groundwater well, a proposed 10’x12’ shed for general storage on previously disturbed area, a 5,000-gallon, two (2) 2,500-gallon and a 1,500-gallon water storage tanks. Proposed activities also include the potential installation of an additional groundwater well, more water tanks if appropriate and installation of a 6’x40’ immature canopy area on previously disturbed area, also including additional immature canopy within the designated mature canopy area. There is a permitted septic system onsite to serve the project’s wastewater needs and power for the project is provided by TPUD. A more detailed project description can be found in the Appendix C Checklist. SPECIAL NOTES: 1. Option 2 including the LLA required for expansion of the mature canopy area onto APN 018-850-011 is not included with the approval of this CEQA determination.
