Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 5,000 square feet (SF) of outdoor mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN): 015-380-017-000. The applicant is seeking a Specialty Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-839) and is also seeking an Adult-Use Specialty Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) as well as a Self-Transport Distribution License from the DCC. Cultivation activities will include approx. 5,000sqft canopy in pots, boxes and beds of various sizes across five (5) distinct garden areas (approx. 14,200sqft total footprint with up to 5,000sqft total mature canopy). Support infrastructure will include a 5’x30’ hoop tunnel for immature canopy, a permitted diversion from Browns Creek, a 10’x10’ cannabis compost area, four (4) existing 2,500-gallon and eight (8) proposed 5,000-gallon water storage tanks also including a 500-gallon nutrient mixing tank if appropriate, two (2) proposed 10’x12’ sheds for ag chemical, general storage and six (6) proposed 10’x12’ sheds for multi-use including immature, processing and harvest storage. Proposed project activities also include the installation of additional garden beds; in the future the sheds may be replaced by 8’x20’ shipping containers (320sf) that will remain as multi-use areas in the same previously disturbed footprint. The project is also proposing the potential installation of a groundwater well as an additional water source. There is a permitted onsite septic to serve the project’s wastewater needs and power for the project is provided by TPUD. A more detailed project description can be found in the Appendix C Checklist.
