Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) is the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (sf) mature canopy Mixed-Light Cannabis. Project Elements include proposed reconfiguration activities that will occur on previously disturbed areas and will not add additional acreage to the disturbed area. No significant changes to the cultivation site or associated activities are proposed. The project proposes minimal grading and no new disturbance areas will be created. The total proposed disturbed area amounts to approximately 0.48 acres. There are currently six (6) 25’x100’ greenhouses, four for mature and two for immature canopy cultivation. Existing support infrastructure includes: two (2) 250-gal water storage tanks and an 8’x8’ compost/waste area. Proposed support infrastructure includes: two (2) 25’x100’ greenhouses for immature canopy, addition of one (1) 250-gal and one (1) 1,500-gal water tank, construction of two (2) proposed 20’x20’ buildings for harvest storage (15’x15’), administrative hold (5’x5’) and agricultural chemical storage (15’x15’) within the two proposed 400sqft structures. All proposed construction of new structures will utilize hand tools exclusively. Grading will occur utilizing no more than a leveler pulled behind a farm tractor, being that there are a small number of areas requiring minor leveling. Heavy equipment will be operated by a licensed contractor and will occur during the dry season and outside of the nesting season for raptors and birds (September-October). Once the proposed greenhouses are installed, they will be permanent structures and will not be disassembled. All greenhouses will be light deprivation only and will not utilize artificial lighting.
