Document Description
The cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (sf) of mature mixed-light cannabis in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN) 019-040-021-000. The applicant is seeking a Small Mixed-Light Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-285), and currently holds a provisional Adult-Use Small Mixed-Light Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL19-0001161, Expires: 2025-08-01). Existing activities include the cultivation of approximately 9,608 sf of mixed-light canopy in two (2) 25’x100’ greenhouse and two (2) 24’x96’ greenhouse, and approximately 8,192 sf of immature canopy in two (2) 15’x100’ hoop houses, a 10’x100’ hoop house, a 17’x50’ greenhouse, and a 24’x40’ garage. Existing Support Infrastructure includes a 7’x9’ shed for general storage; a 10’x10’ composting area for cannabis waste; a 8’x20’ shipping container for general storage; a 24’x40’ garage for immature canopy that will transition to processing and agricultural chemical and pesticide storage; a 8’x20’ shipping container for agricultural chemical and pesticide storage; a 7’x9’ shed for general storage; a 12’x12’ composting area for cannabis waste; a 12’x32’ shed for processing; six (6) 2,500-gallon and a 3,000-gallon tanks for water storage; and a 500-gallon storage tank for mixing of nutrients. The project’s proposed activities are approved to install a 40’x60’ building for immature canopy that will become harvest storage, and install a 13’x15’ shed for agricultural chemical and pesticide storage. The proposed construction will be on a pre-existing graded flat and no tree removal is proposed for project development. Water for this project will be from an onsite permitted well. Power will be supplied by a solar array, one MQ Power Corp Whisperwatt 25 KVA AC Generator and one MQ Power Whisperwatt 7000 Watt 7kW Diesel Generator and an existing onsite septic system serves the project’s wastewater needs.
