Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (SF) of mixed-light mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN): 017-440-001-000. The applicant is seeking a Small Mixed-Light Tier 1 Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-369) and is also seeking an Adult-Use Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL18-0001389, Expires on 2025-07-01). There are currently four (4) 30’x100’ and one (1) temporary 20’x80’ greenhouses (approx. 9,720sqft) for mature canopy, and five (5) temporary 20’x40’ tents for immature canopy. Existing support infrastructure includes: three (3) permitted onsite groundwater wells for agricultural and domestic uses; eight (8) 2,500-gallon and five (5) 5,000-gallon water storage tanks; one 1,000-gallon nutrient mixing tank; one 24’x38’ barn for post-harvest processing and harvest storage (10’x12’ each), administrative hold (2’x3’) and immature canopy (11’x20’); a temporary 20’x50’ tent for post-harvest processing; a 6’x7’ shed for agricultural chemical and pesticide storage; one 14’x20’ cannabis waste and composting area. Proposed infrastructure includes: construction of a 30’x50’ building for post-harvest processing, installation of two (2) 20’x80’ and one (1) 20’x60’ hoop houses for immature canopy to be replaced by four (4) 30’x100’ greenhouses, two greenhouses for mature and two greenhouses for immature canopy, the addition of eight (8) 5,000-gallon and another eight (8) 2,500-gallon water storage tanks. Construction of the proposed building and greenhouses will require use of heavy equipment which will be operated by a licensed contractor during the dry season (April-November). All proposed structures will be replacing other structures onsite, so no additional ground disturbance will occur. There is a permitted septic system onsite to serve the Project’s wastewater needs. Power for the projects is provided by TPUD. A more detailed Project Description can be found in the associated Appendix C Environmental Checklist.
