Document Description
The cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (sf) of mature mixed-light cannabis in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN) 011-280-033-000. The applicant is seeking an Adult-Use Small Mixed-Light Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-502), and currently holds an Annual Adult-Use Small Mixed-Light Tier 2 Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL22-0001417, Expires: 2025-09-27). Existing activities include the cultivation of approximately 10,000 sf of mature mixed-light cannabis in (25) 4’x90 hoop houses, one (1) 4’x50’ hoop house and one (1) 30’48’ greenhouse; and approximately 7,230 sf of immature canopy in two (2) 4’x90’ hoop houses, eight (8) 4’x80’ hoop houses, one (1) 24’x80’ hoop house, (2) two 4’x90’ hoop houses, and twelve (12) 4’x25’ hoop houses. Existing Support Infrastructure includes a 30’x25’ garage consisting of a 2’x4’ administrative hold area, a 22’x28’ processing area which will be repurposed as a harvest storage area, and a 10’x18’ agricultural chemical/pesticide storage; a 10’x10’ composting area for cannabis waste; three (3) 2,500-gallon, five (5) 1,000-gallon, and four (4) 500-gallon water storage tanks; and (1) one 165-gallon nutrient mixing tank. The project’s proposed activities are approved to install a 11’x90’ hoop house for immature canopy on previously disturbed area. Water is provided through an onsite groundwater well. Power for the project site is provided by an existing connection to the Trinity Public Utilities District with a 50-horsepower backup generator, and an existing onsite septic system serves the project’s wastewater needs.
