Document Description
The cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (sf) of mature mixed-light cannabis in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN) 014-420-049-000. The applicant is seeking an Adult-Use Small Mixed-Light Tier 1 Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-180), and currently holds an annual Adult-Use Small Mixed-Light Tier 1 Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL18-0002187, Expires: 2025-05-03); also seeking a Distribution Self-Transport license with the DCC. Existing activities include the cultivation of approximately 7,880 sf of mature mixed-light cannabis in a 30’x120’ greenhouse and thirty-two (32) 4’x40’ hoop houses, and 500 sf of immature canopy within a walk out basement. Existing cannabis support infrastructure includes a 500-sf garage used for immature cannabis plants; the 500-sf walk out basement will transition for processing, harvesting, and administrative storage; the 30’x120’ greenhouses will transition to drying space; a 100-sf shed for agricultural chemical and fertilizer storage; a 150-sf area for cannabis waste and composting storage; a 96-sf shed for self-transport distribution storage; and four water tanks of various capacity to be used for the project’s water needs. The proposed activities are approved to construct four (4) 30’x100’ greenhouses to allow for the cultivation of 9,600 sf of mature mixed-light cannabis canopy. These new proposed greenhouses would be located in the same area as the existing mature cultivation and replace the existing aggregate mixed-light area and thirty-two (32) mini hoop houses. Water is provided through Trinity County Water Works. Power for the project site is provided by an existing connection to the Trinity Public Utilities District, and an existing onsite septic system serves the project’s wastewater needs. A more detailed project description can be found in the Appendix C Checklist.
