Document Description
Project 1 is limited to a single culvert replacement at a Class III stream crossing on Chaps Mountain Road. The current crossing consists of one 12-inch diameter culvert that is undersized for a 100-year stormflow event. The existing culvert will be replaced with one 18-inch diameter circular culvert, with six-inch rock placed at the inlet and outlet. Prior to installation, ¾-inch base rock will be placed and mechanically compacted to slightly below streambed level.
