Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (SF) of mixed-light mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN): 008-150-047-000. The applicant is seeking a Small Mixed-Light Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-072) and is also seeking an Adult-Use Small Mixed-Light Tier 1 Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL18-0002939, Expires on 2025-07-09). Cultivation activities will include approx. 9,997sqft in (24) existing outdoor garden beds and (2) proposed garden beds, an existing 30’x96’ greenhouse with 2,500sqft canopy and an additional proposed 30’x96’ greenhouse (2,500sqft canopy). Existing support infrastructure includes a permitted onsite groundwater well, 20’x48’ greenhouse currently used for mature canopy to be replaced by a 30’x96’ greenhouse for immature canopy, two (2) 8’x20’ containers for harvest storage and processing, 22’x28’ general storage area and 25’x25’ multi-use shop. There is a permitted septic system onsite that services the project’s wastewater needs. Power for the project is provided by PG&E. Additional proposed activities include the installation of a 20’x40’ compost area, 10’x12’ shed for immature canopy, relocation of the containers, 22’x28’ storage area and mature canopy area also including installation of additional canopy area on previously disturbed area using light outdoor equipment. A more detailed project description can be found in the Appendix C Checklist. SPECIAL NOTES: 1. A minor modification request was received on 07/30/2024 to consolidate and rearrange mature canopy in to a single area with eastern boundary expanded into previously disturbed area, two (2) proposed 30’x96’ greenhouses (one each for immature and mature canopy), relocation of shipping containers, relocation of the 22’x28’ storage, ag chemical storage and proposed installation of a 10’x12’ shed for immature plants; as well as designating a compost area.
