Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 5,000 square feet (SF) of mixed-light mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN): 024-080-018-000. The applicant is seeking a Specialty Mixed-Light Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-738) and is also seeking an Adult-Use Specialty Mixed-Light Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; LCA24-0000423). Cultivation activities include approx. 5,000sqft of mixed-light mature canopy area composed of five (5) hoop houses for mature plants of the following dimensions: 12’x40’, 20’x96’, 12’x64’, 12’x45’ and 12’x75’ (4,608sqft total) and the remaining 392sqft will be placed as outdoor pots of various sizes in between the existing hoop houses on previously disturbed area. The proposed immature greenhouse will transition to mature canopy area for a total of up to the allowable 5,000sqft total mature canopy at any given time. Existing support infrastructure includes a 23’x26’ garage for immature canopy, agricultural chemical storage, processing and harvest storage, a 12’x12’ cannabis waste compost area, two (2) permitted groundwater wells, twelve (12) 2,500-gallon and a 550-gallon water storage tanks; power is provided by TPUD grid. There is a permitted septic system onsite to serve the project’s wastewater needs. Proposed activities include the installation of a 30’x50’ greenhouse for immature plants with hand tools within the existing graded pad; furthermore; no grading or heavy equipment is required. Updated Total proposed mature canopy of 4,608sqft. A more detailed project description can be found in the Appendix C Checklist. SPECIAL NOTES: 1. A Minor Modification request was processed including 12’x48’ and 12’x32’ hoop houses to be replaced by 20’x96’ in the same footprint, previously disturbed area with hand tools only.
