Document Description
The existing cultivation Project operated by Yang Emerald Triangle Farm, LLC for which the Applicant currently holds a Provisional Adult-Use-Small Outdoor cultivation license through the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; License # CCL21-0000155) and is in the process of renewing the same license type through Trinity County (License # CCL-470). Mature canopy will be grown in: one (1) 5’x43’ bed, nine (9) 5’x48’ beds, one (1) 5’x29’ bed, one (1) 5’x36’ bed, one (1) 5’x35’ bed, four (4) 5’x25’ beds, one (1) 5’x50’ bed, three (3) 5’x64’beds, and one (1) 5’x18’bed, twenty-seven (27)(5’x5’) boxes, and fifty-seven (57) 3‘ smart pots. Other existing infrastructure includes: a 10’x20’ carport for immature canopy;
a 10’x12’ shed for processing that will become a harvest storage area; a 8‘x8’ shed petroleum product storage area; a 12’x20.5’ shed for processing; a 12’x16’ shed for general storage; a 8’x20’ shipping container containing a 2’x3’ tote administrative hold area; (8’x20’-2’x3’) agricultural chemical and pesticide storage area; a 6’x8’ shed for generator containment; a 1000-gallon, two (2) 2500-gallon and a 250-gallon water storage tanks; a chip and till compost area; and a ground water well for domestic and agricultural purposes. The total existing disturbed area amounts to 6,021 sf (0.14) acres. No future site development or reconfiguration is planned at this time. No road improvement components are necessary as part of the proposed project, and heavy equipment will not be needed. Power for the Project site is provided by solar energy. Solar pumps will be used to convey water from the groundwater well to the water storage tanks. The backup generator onsite will be used for residential purposes only and will not be involved in cannabis production.
SPECIAL NOTES: Resolution NO. 2023-071, “A Resolution of the Board of Supervisors of The County of Trinity allowing streamlined approval of cannabis licenses that require CCVs for the calender year 2023”. Applicant has provided supplemental Odor Control Plan to fall in compliance with the resolution. The carport identified for immature canopy may only be utilized with a shade cloth cover or no covering at all; the sides must remain uncovered at all times during immature canopy usage.
