Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (SF) of mixed-light mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN): 015-360-010-000. The applicant is seeking a Small Mixed-Light Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-271) and currently holds an Adult-Use Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL20-0003240; Expires on 2025-05-15). Cultivation activities will include approx. 6,555sqft mature canopy in six (6) 6’x100’ hoop houses (3600sqft total), two (2) 6’x30’ hoop houses (360sqft total), eight (8) 2’x2’ bags (72sqft total canopy), three (3) 6’x6’ raised beds (108sqft total), a 2,054sqft and 336sqft open areas, and one 4’x4’ box (25sqft total canopy). Existing infrastructure includes a permitted onsite groundwater well, a 16sqft compost area, an 8’x10’ shed for harvest storage, an 8’x12’ shed for harvest storage, an 8’x20’ container for harvest storage, 3,707sqft total existing outdoor mature canopy in beds, pots and 6-ft hoop rows of various length as well as 510sqft of immature canopy. Proposed activities include re-arranging the canopy layout in the existing footprint as described above, with transition to utilizing supplemental lighting for mixed-light cultivation where permittable. Additional proposed activities include the installation of two (2) 6’x30’ hoop rows for immature canopy on previously disturbed area. There is an onsite septic system onsite that services the project’s wastewater needs. Power for the project is provided by TPUD. A more detailed project description can be found in the Appendix C Checklist. SPECIAL NOTES: 1. Lighting is currently not allowed in 6’ hoop rows or hoop houses of any size; although this project is being approved for proposed future transition to mixed-light operations, the project as described cannot use any proposed infrastructure for mixed-light mature canopy unless Building code requirements, policy changes in the future.
