Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (SF) of mixed-light mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor's Parcel Number (APN): 008-820-001-000. The applicant is seeking a Small Mixed-Light Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-061) and is also seeking an Adult-Use Small Mixed-Light Tier 2 Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL18-0002935, Expires on 2025¬03-22). Cultivation activities will include approx. 9,986sqft mature canopy including (98) 8' beds (approx. 4,926sqft outdoor canopy), a 20'x56' greenhouse, a 20'x48' greenhouse and a 30'x96' greenhouse. Associated cannabis support buildings and infrastructure include: a 30'x96' greenhouse for immature canopy, a 20'x20' compost area, a 2-story building - 44'x30' (first floor) and 30'x20' (second story) for a total 1,920 SF only 1,368 SF is used for Administration Hold, harvest storage (370 SF), harvest storage and clone/immature room (288 SF), pesticide and chemical storage area (182 SF), processing and packaging area (346 SF), and office area (182 SF); one (1) 100 SF mature canopy (research and development) area; two (2) permitted groundwater wells, one (1) water catch basin for electro-dialysis well purification system, one (1) 2,500-gallon water tank, six (6) 3,000-gallon water tanks for a total 20,500 gallons of water storage. There is a permitted onsite septic system associated with the shop that is used to serve the project's wastewater needs. Power for the project is provided by PG&E. Proposed activities include the potential drilling of new groundwater wells for project use, rainwater catchment system as well as general infrastructure improvements on previously disturbed area and upgrading the shop bathroom to be ADA compliant, etc. A more detailed project description can be found in the Appendix C Checklist. SPECIAL NOTES: 1. Proposed Type 12 Microbusiness License activities are NOT included with this determination. 2. A Lot Line Adjustment is currently underway to split this property east of the cultivation area; the existing dwelling that will then be located on the new APN will continue to be used to meet the CCL dwelling requirement on the existing APN for this project. lE, both APNs will be included with renewal applications after the LLA is completed.
