Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) is the continuation of existing cultivation activities located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN) 011-410-032-00. The applicant currently holds an Adult Use – Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the California Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) (CCL19-0005440, expires 06/08/2024) and is applying for a cannabis cultivation license from the Trinity County Planning Department (CCL-006) to cultivate up to 10,000 square feet (sf) of mature outdoor canopy. The existing outdoor cultivation includes 657 smart pots with 3.9’ x 3.9’ (9,993 sqft total) mature canopy cultivation and a 14’ x 40’ (560 sqft) for immature plants. Other structures used to support the cultivation include a 6’ x 15’ (90 sqft ) argriculture chemical and pesticide storage; a 8’ x 20’ (160 sqft) shipping container for harvest storage; a 10’ x 12’ (120 sqft) shed for agricultural chemical and pesticide storage; a 10’ x 20’ (200 sqft) cannabis waste area for composting and water storage tanks of various sizes: four (4) 2,500-gallon and a 1,500-gallon. Water for the project will be provided by a well, and an onsite septic system would service the project’s wastewater needs. A more detailed project description can be found in the attached Appendix C Checklist. SPECIAL NOTE: A 46’ x 30’ detached garage and a 44’ x 80’ building was removed from the site plan in order to be in compliance with the 350-feet residential setback. The applicant plans to use the buildings for cannabis cultivation if variance language changes.
