Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (SF) of mixed-light cannabis located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN): 011-210-24-00. The designated area totals 9,900 SF. The applicant is seeking a Small Mixed-Light Tier 1 Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-657) and a Small Mixed-Light Tier 1 Cannabis Cultivation License and a Small Outdoor Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; CCL20-0001221, expires 3/22/2023). Cultivation activities include 9,250 SF of mixed-light mature canopy area and a total designated cultivation area of 9,900 SF. The proposed project includes the use of a point of diversion for agricultural and domestic use for water sources. Additionally, the project proposes a groundwater well for agriculture use. The cultivation is irrigated via a drip system to reduce evapotranspiration and water loss. The direct footprint of the infrastructure and support area results in approximately 19,264 SF. A more detailed project description can be found in the Appendix C Checklist. SPECIAL NOTES: The Applicant proposes to drill a new groundwater well designated for agricultural and domestic use. Current water use for the project and domestic use is from a point a diversion (Certificate H100639, 12/2/2019). Project parcel had a wetland delineation completed (12/9/2019). Immature plants are purchased off-site.
