The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (SF) of mixed-light mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN): 017-410-003-000. The applicant is seeking a Small Mixed-light Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-786) and is also seeking an Adult-Use Small Mixed-light Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC; LCA24-0000394). Proposed cultivation activities will include approximately 9,990 SF of mature canopy in eight (8) 20’x100’ greenhouses, two (2) existing and six (6) proposed; an 8’x30’ building and a 10.5’x16.5’ shed for immature canopy. Existing support infrastructure include a 10’x10’ shed for agricultural storage; a 12’x20’ composting area for cannabis waste; the 18’x30’ building for immature canopy will transition to processing and harvest storage; two (2) 2,500-gallon tanks for water storage; and four (4) 500-gallon tanks for nutrient mixing. The project proposes to construct six (6) greenhouses for mature canopy. Three (3) of the proposed greenhouses will be installed on previously disturbed area, and the remaining three (3) will require tree removal and grading. Prior to land alterations, the project will acquire a less than 3-acre conversion from CalFire. A permitted septic will serve the project’s wastewater needs; a permitted onsite groundwater well will supply the project with its water needs; and the project is connected to Trinity PUD which will supply the project with its energy needs.
