Document Description
The proposed cultivation project described herein (Project) includes the cultivation of up to 10,000 square feet (SF) of mixed-light mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN): 024-050-005-000. The applicant is seeking a Small Mixed-Light Cannabis Cultivation License from the County (CCL-778) and is also seeking a Small Mixed-Light Tier 1 Cannabis Cultivation License from the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC). Proposed cultivation activities will include approx. 9,800sqft of mature canopy in five (5) 24’x98’ greenhouses for mature canopy, as well as six (6) 24’x98’ greenhouses dedicated to immature plants; mature greenhouses will have 4’ walking isles and the immature greenhouses will have 6’ isles. Existing infrastructure includes an onsite permitted groundwater well and six (6) 5,000-gallon water storage tanks. Proposed activities include the construction of the greenhouses as detailed above, 10’x10’ cannabis compost, 10’x10’ ag chemical shed, 10’x10’ fuel storage shed, 30’x50’ processing building, additional solar panels and a total of (44) 5,000-gallon water storage tanks. There is a permitted septic system that services the projects’ wastewater needs. Power for the project will be provided by onsite solar system with backup generators. The property has deeded easement access from W Upper Democrat Road; however, an encroachment permit application with Trinity County DOT is required for development of the proposed infrastructure on this property. No tree removal or CalFire conversion of previously undisturbed area will occur; all proposed development and road improvements will occur on previously disturbed area.
